About the Expo

On Saturday, June 23, 2007, family and professional caregivers are invited to join others from around the Chicagoland area at the Drury Lane Expo Center in Oakbrook Terrace for the third annual CAREgiver EXPO. Endorsed by the American Parkinson's Disease Association and the Midwest Chapter of the Alzheimer's Association, the expo is also supported by  American Heart Association, the American Brain Tumor Association the ALS Association, the Lupus Association, the Lewy Body Dementia Association as well as many other illness advocacy and government support organizations. CAREgiver EXPO will be a full day of learning, sharing and friendship, all in an exciting environment that will feature lively educational seminars, helpful product demonstrations and great giveaways.

The 2007 CAREgiver EXPO will also feature the Alzheimer's Foundation of America's travelling "Quilt to Remember", a special presentation by caregiving expert, CAREgiver Magazine "SOS" columnist and author Sue Salach, a live performance by pianist and stroke caregiving advocate Frances Mai-Ling, and much more!

Most importantly, the CAREgiver EXPO will provide area caregivers the opportunity to meet and share experiences with others who find themselves in similar caregiving situations.

"This is going to be a great opportunity for caregivers to learn from experts on Parkinson's, Alzheimer's, diabetes, cancer, and a host of other conditions that affect their loved ones," says Event Director and Chicago CAREgiver Publisher, Susan Hirschhaut. "Whether you are seeking information for a parent, a spouse, a friend or even yourself, there will be something for everyone. The EXPO will benefit all caregivers, whether they are just beginning the caregiving journey or have had years of experience."

Event Hours are 9 a.m to 2 p.m.
